Today we have another #IranElection riseup in Tehran
Today (14th of Feb) is announce as an anti-govenment rally. Police, Basij and Sepah have did their best to prevent this prom happening. If you pass any street in Tehran, you will be able to feel the tention. The rally is announced for 15:00 (Obviously tehran time) but it seems the protest has already started (7am).
This man – up on the crain – has a Green flag in support of #IranElection rallies and also holding the photos of Mousavi and Karroubi: the opposition leaders who planned this rally and asked people to come to the streets to “show their support of Egypt”.
Let’s wait and what more is going to happen.
Internet is set on “turtle speed” once more
Only 2 days till the upcomming rally and the Internet switch is down to turtle speed once more. I’m hardly able to open any webpage and no VPN works. I’m sure nothing big is going to happen on 14th of Feb rally proposed by Karroubi and Mousavi.
The socalled leaders of the green movement, announced that they asked the government to let them and their supporters to rally on 14the of Feb “in solidarity with Egypt and Tunisian uprisings”. Critics are saying that you can not ask a dictator to rally against him and furthemore you can not ask people to come to the streets for a peaceful rally when you know that they are going to confront the psudo-military and armed anti-riot police and Revolutionary Guardians of Ismalic Republic. Critics say that this will endanger the participants and their life specially because this is planned during a normal working day and government will easy be able to locate who skipped worked in this special day.

Nasrin Sotoudeh
She is a lawyer representing many Human Rights Activists in Iran.
On, January 9, 2011, Iranian authorities sentenced Nasrin Sotoudeh to 11 years in jail for charges that include “activities against national security” and “propaganda against the regime.” Additionally, she has been barred from practicing law and from leaving the country for 20 years. Can “staying in the country” be a Punishment? How? Is Iran a big prison? What other Iranians have done wrong to be punished to stay at Iran for life?
